About This Role
Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Business Analyst, IT Marketing with expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to join our team. This role focuses on digital channel execution, and training team members and external partners on digital tools and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and coordination skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. The Business Analyst, IT Marketing reports to the Director, IT.
This role is based at Axsome’s HQ in New York City with an on-site requirement of at least three days per week. We are unable to consider candidates who are looking for fully remote roles.
Job Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Partner with marketing teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions that empower Marketing teams to utilize the SFMC automation platform and other Integrates systems
- Support email and channel marketing team with building custom queries, email templates, amp script-based dynamic templates, automation jobs, and build out of comprehensive customer 1:1 journeys
- Provide SFMC expertise by optimizing customer journeys, campaigns, personalization efforts, and ensure alignment with business goals
- Email deliverability monitoring and IP Warming
- Build out automated reporting analytics to provide to Marketing teams
- Support other systems in the marketing technology stack
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for marketing processes, ensuring clarity and consistency across the team
- Understand, own and maintain business processes, user stories, documentation and training materials on behalf of our business partners, while remaining compliant with internal and external compliance and regulatory guidelines
- Provide training and ongoing support to brand team members and external partners on digital tools, platforms, and best practices to enhance overall marketing effectiveness
- Coordinate marketing projects and campaigns, ensuring timely execution and alignment with overall marketing goals. Working with external vendors to implement and troubleshoot issues when needed
- Analyze campaign performance and metrics, generating insights to inform future content and digital strategies
- Work closely with multiple agencies and cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and enhance overall campaign effectiveness
- Keep up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve processes and strategies
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years experience designing, administering and configuring Salesforce Marketing Cloud for marketing solutions
- Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other digital marketing tools; familiarity with content management systems and analytics platforms
- Experience with AMPScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, JSON; XML, MQ, HTTP, REST, Java Script, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively
- Strong coordination and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work on site Monday, Tuesday & Thursday. We are unable to consider candidates who are looking for fully remote roles
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Certified in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer and/or Marketing Cloud Consultant is preferred
- Experience providing support to digital marketing and omni channel
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online advertising strategies
- Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and reporting methodologies
- Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Intelligence and ETL tools
Salary and Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this role is $115,000 - $140,000. We encourage candidates of all levels to apply as there may be flexibility on final job title and responsibilities. The salary offer will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity and location.
