Job description

Job Summary:

Aptive is seeking a full-time Program Analyst Junior to provide high quality support for
the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Integrated Veteran Care (IVC)
Integrated Access Operations.


VHA is America’s largest integrated health care system, providing care at 1,293 health
care facilities, including 171 medical centers and 1,112 outpatient sites of care of
varying complexity (VHA outpatient clinics), serving 9 million enrolled Veterans each
year.


VHA IVC is responsible for implementing and overseeing key initiatives such as
integrated access, care coordination, and clinic practice management models. This
includes managing provider bookability, appointment and wait-time standardization, as
well as community care eligibility requirements. VHA IVC is tasked with developing,
maintaining, and monitoring policies related to scheduling management, referral
management, and consult management.


The day-to-day work will include developing presentations, performing research and
analysis, responding to client requests, providing client meeting support, and more.


Excellent communication and time management skills, proficiency with MS Office Suite, and the flexibility to work both independently and within a team environment will be critical to this role’s success.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Program Analyst Junior specializes in developing and recommending mid-level
complex strategies to optimize the operations of different programs within an
organization. Working with a Program Analyst Sr., primary responsibilities for this
position are:


Support quantitative and qualitative research to measure, govern, and evaluate
performance.
Ensure clear communication, organization, and coordination between multiple
stakeholders.
Assist with the development of insightful recommendations to the VA executive
leadership.
Utilize critical and analytical thinking skills to inform client projects and program
requirements.
Ensure clear communication, organization, and coordination between multiple
stakeholders.
Facilitating resolution sessions to validate client leadership decisions and drive
growth and progress.
Create business case decision models or execute business process redesign
process mapping to optimize clients’ operational productivity and outcomes.
Provide administrative support, event planning, and other ad-hoc tasks as
needed.
Assist with reports, presentations, and white papers.

Minimum Qualifications:

1 years of program analysis or consultant experience
Master’s degree in a related field of study
Experience supporting large, complex federal agencies; ideally VA or DoD
Ability to interact and engage with Executive-level stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
U.S. citizen/Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
