The Senior Fleet Administrator is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the company's fleet operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods or personnel. This includes vehicle acquisition, maintenance, compliance, driver management, routing, fuel consumption, and monitoring overall utilization.

What you'll be doing:
Include but are not limited to the following:
Oversees the full cycle of procurement, leasing and renting of vehicles based on company needs.
Manages the administrative cycle of all fleet operations to include vehicle registration, licensing, insurance, company branding, and compliance with safety regulations and financial objectives.
Collaborates closely with vendors, conducting cost analysis to determine the acquisition strategy of company vehicles.
Coordinates with local leaders to ensure all fleet vehicles are properly licensed, registered, and insured.
Oversees the maintenance and repair cycle to include scheduling, routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, damaged vehicle assessments, and vehicle disposal.
Ensures that the fleet adheres to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards: implements safety protocols and training programs for drivers.
Collaborates with the Learning and Development department to train employees in fleet management systems.
Monitors and manages fleet expenses, including fuel, maintenance, repairs, and insurance; implementing strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Assists in the annual budget process for purchasing and leased vehicles and monthly P&L variance analysis for fleet management.
Maintains and analyzes fleet data, generates, maintains, and disseminates reports, maintains financial documentation on performance, lease administration, vehicle cost, fuel consumption, cost savings, and compliance.
Collaborates with accounting and finance teams to ensure vehicle financial diligence around disposal, lease end dates and other items related to the cost per vehicle.

Minimum Required Education and Experience
Skills and Abilities to be Successful in this Role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in fleet management software and tools
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Preferred previous experience with fleet management or fleet administration systems.
Must possess strong computer skills overall, with a strong knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and other analytical tools
