- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize software solutions for Automotive Radar. The candidate will have a strong technical background in RF systems, signal processing, and embedded software development, with experience in radar technologies and their integration into automotive platforms. This role requires close collaboration with hardware, systems engineering, and validation teams to deliver high-performance, safety-compliant radar systems that enable advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Skill set (Must Have):
- Strong C programming, MATLAB skills for micro controllers (ARM Cortex M and A series).
- Bare metal programming skills for high-performance real-time systems (development on FPGA, Emulators, and silicon).
- Develop and implement software for RF front-end components of automotive radar systems, including signal processing algorithms .
- Optimize software for performance, reliability, and efficiency on embedded platforms.
- Work closely with hardware, systems, and validation teams to align software development with overall system requirements.
- Test and Measurement products experience like 3-4-5G, (Keysight/Tektronix/R&S).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for cross functional collaboration .
Skill set (Good to have)
- Knowledge of automotive safety and development standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE).
- Familiarity with Requirement management tools like ELM
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Git and defect management tools ( JIRA)
- Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe frameworks, including their practical implementation.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in embedded systems, development and architecture design in Automotive industry.
