WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an Account Partner Representative that will be responsible for managing our Running Specialty (RSG) Authenticator channel across Canada. A successful Account Partner Representative will have a proven track record leveraging consumer, retailer, and industry insights to make decisions and drive our brand forward at our most specialized and authenticating wholesale partners.
The ideal Candidate should have a passion for Running, and a strong background in business planning, product, and marketplace management.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will be the representative of the Nike brand to external Running specialty partners across Canada. You will be the eyes and ears for Nike in this fast-paced industry and will provide account feedback to key internal stakeholders, both in Canada and across North America. You will use market knowledge on the consumer, product trends, and the competition to maximize product placement, sell through and authenticity for Nike.
You will develop accurate and realistic go-to-market plans, seasonal assortments, forecasts and manage gross to net (G2N) within your portfolio. Consumer insights will need to be understood and managed to ensure that key products are supported at the right doors and are in the path of our most desired consumers.
You will establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Communication is key as we act as a bridge between our most authentic consumers and retailers and the internal cross functional teams within Nike.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work and communicate directly with the Running Authenticator channel’s owners & operators regularly when developing plans and forecasts. You will inform them of business opportunities, problems, progress, and support needed.
You will also work with cross functional Nike partners in marketing, operations, planning, merchandising and with the greater Running Authenticator team across North America. This position reports to the Manager, Authenticators Partners, Canada.
WHAT YOU BRING
- You have 1-3 years’ experience in account management, buying, retail planning, or relevant work experience. Forecasting and delivering results vs sales targets is an asset.
- A proven track record of leveraging industry, consumer and account data and insights to make decisions and drive change.
- Knowledge of the Running marketplace product and trends.
- You will demonstrate the ability to lead and influence cross functional peers in professional discussions and often complex decisions.
- Proven track record understanding complex business issues & finding creative solutions.
- Ability to travel as required to sales meetings across Canada & USA.
- Bachelors’ Degree or similar Post-Secondary education in the field of sales or business recommended.
- Strong interest, knowledge, and participation in the sport of Running is an asset
