Overview:
The Account Executive is responsible for managing all operational and strategic work within a specific book of business. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships for assigned accounts, achieving outstanding client satisfaction and reference-ability. The primary role would be managing pharmacy insurance benefits and serving as the liaison between the client and MaxorPlus. Work activities include managing prescription benefit plans for employers, overseeing complex projects, supporting client benefit operations and reporting needs, resolving client and member issues, attending open enrollment meetings and/or benefit fairs, coordinating pharmacy claims administration, managing accounts receivable, assisting with finalist presentations, as well as contract renewal work including collaborating with underwriting and managing the reporting of Performance Guarantees. Occasional overnight travel for client or company meetings may be required.
Equally as important as the operational duties noted above, additional responsibilities include preparing necessary data reports and strategic plans for renewing clients. The expectation is that this role is able to work with underwriting to prepare and deliver a client facing proposal. As part of ongoing management as well as during the renewal process this role will analyze and deliver data and reports that demonstrate the value of Maxor plus products and service, providing consultative support to clients to support management of prescription drug spend.
Develop long term strategic plans for clients designed to ensure account retention and short term tactical plans to ensure customer satisfaction. Discuss customer issues affecting cost of service delivery and margin and identify creative solutions to those issues. Ensure profitability of individual accounts and overall Maxor Plus profitability.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree, preferred
Experience:
- PBM Account Manager or Account Executive experience managing complex relationships preferred
- Two to three years progressive experience working in account management, healthcare solutions, prescription benefit management, insurance benefits, and/or pharmacy claims administration.
- Proficient MS Office experience mandatory
- Strong aptitude to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to interact with a wide variety of individuals across departments
- Strong organization skills with ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
