Sentinel is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Presales Architect to join our team and drive technical solutioning for Microsoft-based enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Cloud, Modern Workplace, Azure, and related technologies, helping customers design, scope, and adopt Microsoft solutions effectively. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, business acumen, and strong communication skills to support the sales team in delivering compelling solutions. This position can be remote providing occasional support onsite in Grand Rapids, MI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), including compute, networking, security, and identity management.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Defender, Entra ID).
- Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is a plus.
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures, Zero Trust security models, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft licensing models and cost optimization strategies.
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value propositions for non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
