Software Consultant, Contract Rights Royalties

We are hiring at Klopotek for a Software Consultant – Contracts, Rights and Royalties to join our team in the Netherlands!

This position requires excellent organizational and strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the media and publishing industry. Knowledge in the field of "Contracts, Rights and Royalties" as well as basic IT skills (e.g., Oracle, SQL) and some project management experience would be advantageous but is not mandatory. You will receive the necessary "tools" and learn how to use them as part of a tailored training program. Your mentor will stay with you even after the onboarding period.

As a Software Consultant, you will advise and support new publishing customers during the implementation of our software products based on best-practice business processes. The successful candidates should have publishing knowledge, ideally in Contracts, Rights & Royalties and related finance processes. Primarily, the role will be responsible for scoping, analyzing, organizing and realizing deliverables and outcomes within a program/project context.

What your day will look like:

• Varied project management tasks for the implementation and use of the industry-leading media software "Klopotek STREAM"
• Depending on the projects, these tasks include
  the coordination of requirements, (migration) specifications, migration support, system configuration, training, and supporting the 'functional and acceptance test' completed by the client until the ‘Go live’ has happened
• Consulting on data exchange using standardized interfaces or other electronic procedures
• Participation in the coordination and management of projects, project planning, and project documentation
• Consulting on process optimization relying on the varied and proven functionalities of the Klopotek software
• Configuration of the software to adapt it to customer requirements
• Support colleagues internally

About You:

• At least a bachelor's degree in Publishing, IT, Computer Science or similar is highly advantageous
• 2+ years professional experience, preferably in Contract Management, Publishing Royalty, Accounting, or Finance, is essential
• Good knowledge of MS Office products is essential
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, and German or Dutch to at least B1 level or above is essential
• Demonstrable and proven experience with ERP systems
• Project management skills would be advantageous
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Ability to prioritize tasks that have to be completed in due time and are to be managed simultaneously
• Self-motivated and customer-oriented
• Can handle pressurized situations with a positive attitude  
• Legally authorized to work in the Netherlands is essential
