Financial Controller

As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for a new Financial Controller with a passion for process automation and innovation. In this role, you will be an important factor into further growing our business, driving automation and making sure we meet all our regulatory requirements. You will own and control core financial reporting deliverables together with the rest of the team.

What this role looks like

As Financial Controller, you will be joining a team with enthusiastic professionals. You will work closely with our VP of Finance & Operations, our Financial Controllers and the rest of our Finance Team. This is a full time job remote position from Colombia, where you will be working for our global teams.

Your key responsibilities as Financial Controller

• Oversee and maintain strong cash flow management and reporting for the company.

• Support the monthly closing process and continuously improve this process together with the Financial Controllers and financial operations team;

• Initiate and own improvement and automation projects in our ERP system (Netsuite), in collaboration with our Netsuite Admin;

• Annual closing work & reporting (together with Financial Controllers);

• Support and ultimately own the financial data running through our systems;

• Together with the team you guard the integrity and relevance of reported figures;

• Identify key drivers as well as risks and improve reporting accordingly;

• Work together with the VP Finance to achieve the key objectives of the finance department.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
