We are seeking a Strategic Project Manager who will be responsible for leading and coordinating the successful planning, execution, and delivery of designated strategic projects. The Strategic Project Manager will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and senior leadership, to gather requirements, manage resources, and track progress toward milestones.
The Strategic Project Manager will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and adapting to changing circumstances to ensure successful project outcomes. Specific Duries & Responsibilities
Project Management
- Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and facilitate regular project meetings to monitor progress and address challenges.
- Identify and manage risks, ensuring timely completion of project objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables.
- Facilitate focus groups or discussions to gather input and ensure consensus.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare regular project updates, reports, and documentation for leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaboratively ensures that project deliverables align with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
Process Improvement
- Analyze current practices and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop recommendations to enhance efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree.
- Five years related experience.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications- ALA accredited Masters in Library/Information Science or equivalent combination of advanced degree and relevant experience.
- Project management certification.
