Job description

We’re looking for a Content & Audience Engagement Producer to join our team on a full-time permanent basis in London.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the Consumer Competitions team to create, implement and produce the content of some of the biggest radio competitions in the UK. With a content background (and a commercial head!) you will play a key role within our rapidly expanding team.

From writing scripts to producing winning moments, you will ensure that our competitions run smoothly – and compliantly – everyday, while constantly looking for ways to improve our mechanics, our ways of working, and how we engage with our audiences.

This is a hybrid position, where you will have the opportunity to work from home and our office in London.

What you’ll do:

Our competitions enjoy a prominent position on our radio stations and they are a vital part of our business. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Producing on-air content for our competitions across radio, networks, and digital platforms.
  • Writing and distributing presenter briefs and scripts.
  • Co-ordinating, adjudicating, and producing competition executions.
  • Driving engagement among new, lapsed, and existing entrants.
  • Providing feedback on competition content across Bauer stations.
  • Monitoring and reporting on market trends.
  • Supporting Content Directors in developing innovative consumer propositions.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Helping Bauer brands achieve revenue targets.

What you’ll bring:

The ability to create entertaining and engaging competitions is at the heart of everything you’ll do in this role, so you’ll bring:

  • Creative flair;
  • Previous relevant experience within radio or other media;
  • The ability to manage a busy workload in a time-pressured environment;
  • Great team working skills, and the ability to support others in the team as needed;
  • Confidence in your interpersonal skills;
  • A real passion for the brands you’re working with;
  • Sound understanding of the Ofcom Broadcasting Code.

What’s in it for you:

  • You’ll have 25 days holiday, bank holidays & 2 volunteer days to use.
  • Your development matters, so access to our internal training provider – Bauer Academy, is a huge win.
  • We have enhanced Maternity/Adoption, Paternity and Shared Parental Leave Pay.
  • You’ll have the opportunity for flexible working.
  • And much more

If you're a motivated individual with a passion for Audience Engagement across content and a drive to succeed, we’d love to hear from you!

Closing Date For Applications: Monday 24th February
