Job description

 

Tenaris, the world's largest producer of seamless steel pipes for the energy industry, harnesses data from its global operations to enhance process quality and efficiency. Tenaris’ Well Design Solution department, working in direct contact with major energy companies, develops tailor-made solutions for modern wells, including cutting edge solutions for energy transition.

 
We are looking for a Well Design Solutions Analyst to join our global corporate team of nine professionals. In this role, you will design and implement efficient, scalable, and innovative solutions that drive business success. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise, and the ability to connect business needs with technology-driven solutions.
 
Role Responsibilities
  • Support customers and our technical sales in string design and material selection, using commercial software and proprietary tools.
  • Perform finite element analyses (Abaqus), for ad-hoc solutions.
  • Test and support the development of proprietary string design tools.
  • Collaborate with end-users throughout the project lifecycle, both in Italy and in mills across the globe.
 
Mandatory Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials and Energy Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in mechanical design and materials science.
  • Strong desire to learn how to design and develop solutions for well design.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
Considered as a Plus
  • Basic knowledge of numeric models and programming languages.
  • Basic knowledge of finite element analysis (Abaqus).
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
  • Knowledge of thermal cycles for geothermal applications.
