This is a remote position. 

 

What we’re looking for: 

SHAZAM is looking for a Business Development Manager (Market Development) to join our team. This role is responsible for developing new market segments for designated company products and services.


What you'll do: 

  • Drive activities to enhance the profile of the company in emerging markets, including generation of intelligence derived by gathering and analyzing information by attending conferences/tradeshows, undertaking research via websites, social media, podcasts, participating in webinars etc.
  • Collaborate with the Market Development team to identify the best prospects or designated company products in targeted emerging markets.
  • Contribute to increased revenue and transaction-based service volume in the designated emerging market segments.
  • Develop marketing, prospecting, and sales collateral materials to be employed by company sales resources with prospects in the designated emerging markets. 

What you need:

  • Minimum of four years’ experience in business development, market development and management experience, preferably in payments processing systems, core banking systems or related banking products.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving and reaching goals.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, quickly adapting to change and prioritizing needs.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office.
