We are looking to hire a Salesforce Tech Lead who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced Salesforce Core platform solutions. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, integrating Salesforce with other systems, and providing technical support and training to ensure effective use of the platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce development, with a deep understanding of Core Clouds and their functionalities.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and lead technical design sessions to architect and document solutions that align with client business objectives. Identify gaps between the client's current state and desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Oversee the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration components within a Salesforce implementation.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams to design solution architectures, prioritize tasks, and estimate efforts to ensure delivery within agreed timelines. Provide guidance to developers on technical solutions and best practices.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other systems and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features, and recommend improvements to existing processes.
  • Provide technical support and training to client technical resources to ensure effective use of the Salesforce Core platform.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer with a focus on the Salesforce Core platform. End-to-end business architecture and supporting technical components for at least 3 Salesforce projects.
  • Deep knowledge of data management, security protocols, and Salesforce platform architecture. 
  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with Salesforce Multi-Cloud landscape i.e. Salesforce Core Clouds functionalities such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud. Good to have experience in Industry Cloud Solutions, Commerce Cloud and Marketing Cloud product suite.
  • Experience/expertise defining integration patterns, integration tools for 3rd party systems, such as REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, webservices and ETL tools. (MuleSoft experience is a plus)
  • Proficient in DevOps processes and Salesforce migration strategies, with a strong understanding of environment and release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
  • Hands on experience using Release Management tools such as DevOps Center, Copado, Flosum, AutoRabbit etc.
  • Experience in Project Architecture including multiple Salesforce Cloud implementations and third-party integrations
  • Salesforce Certifications: Must have – Platform Developer I; Nice to have: Platform Developer II, Integration Architect, Data Architect
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to OSF Digital. Employees may live anywhere in Canada, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role. Generally, the standard base pay range for this role is CA$100,000 to 130,000 Annually. This base pay range is specific to certain locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for competitive benefits, individual and team performance awards, others. Actual amounts will vary depending on overall profile, experience, and location.
