Position Summary

The Managed Care Pharmacist (MCP) is an exciting professional opportunity at MultiCare, working in collaboration with pharmacy clinical services, MultiCare Connected Care leadership, and Primera to maximize MultiCare Health System’s Gold Leaf program. In this role you will utilize analytics to improve patient clinical outcomes and reduce the total cost of care.

Responsibilities

  • You will facilitate development, implementation and evaluation of medication utilization
  • You will evaluate scientific evidence to provide appropriate medications for Gold Leaf patients
  • You will work with providers and other health professionals to optimize clinical programs
  • You will assess the effectiveness and safety of new treatments for diseases
  • You will use evidence-based clinical and research data to create disease management and MTM programs that help patients manage their therapies

Requirements

  • Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
  • Successful completion of an Accredited ASHP Specialty Residency Program in Managed Care or related area preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years of clinical pharmacy experience in an ambulatory setting

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $152,256.00 - $206,003.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
