Reporting to the Global Talent Acquisition Manager, the Lead Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for executive recruitment, overseeing process improvement and creation for the Talent Acquisition team, developing effective strategies to attract top talent, and supporting the development of Neogen’s employment brand. This role requires strong process/project management experience, expertise in recruitment best practices, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional stakeholder experience.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

Hiring strategy:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates.
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with senior level hiring managers and department heads to understand hiring requirements and priorities.

Sourcing & screening:

  • Oversee sourcing efforts through job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and other channels.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates’ qualifications.
  • Ensure timely communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Candidate and stakeholder experience:

  • Maintain an exceptional experiences by delivering clear communication and timely updates.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by promoting the organization’s values, culture, and opportunities.

Process improvement:

  • Evaluate recruitment processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Reporting & metrics:

  • Design and implement high quality MI to deliver insights.
  • Present regular updates to leadership on hiring progress and challenges.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience required includes:

  • Significant previous talent acquisition experience, including at least 5-10 years inhouse within HR.
  • Proven success in managing executive-level hiring or specialized talent searches.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and project management.
