JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

The Account Director position will be responsible for building long-term, trusting relationships with our strategic Retail Partner accounts. The Director’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned partners, develop new business opportunities within those existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain direct and active relationships with assigned retail partners                           

  • Responsible for account development strategy, and expanding Green Dot products within existing accounts

  • Leading, collaborating and problem-solving with cross-functional teams to successfully implement partner initiatives and internal business goals.

  • Develop annual plans and lead quarterly business reviews with partners to grow Green Dot product share and revenue opportunities.

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of products and services to align with the partner's needs

  • Implement strategies to achieve sales, revenue and contribution goals.

  • Forecast and track key account metrics, preparing reports to demonstrate to internal and external account stakeholders performance on KPI’s

  • Moderate travel required

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of proven work experience in account management, sales, or project management. – FinTech experience a plus

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Natural talent for leading, organizing, coordinating, collaborating, problem solving, and tracking

  • Strong ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, leading presentations, and business discussions across all stakeholders both internally and externally

  • Analytical skills with the proven ability to utilize data as a key element in planning, decision making, problem solving and selling in the adoption of business driving actions

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize activities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, at various levels and with various departments as needed to achieve results and deliver on commitments

  • Proficient in using MS Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Preferred:

  • Financial services technology industry experience a plus

  • Master’s degree

PAY RANGE

The targeted base salary for this position is $120,300 to $156,300 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
