Join our team as a Middle Data Steward and play a key role in managing and optimizing our data. Work closely with stakeholders, ensure data quality, and help shape how our organization manages and protects its data!
Facilitate collaboration between business and data teams by translating business needs into clear data requirements and ensuring actionable insights are derived from data.
Collect and formalize business and technical requirements for data assets, process automation, and reporting.
Conduct SQL queries (advanced level) to validate data integrity and identify inconsistencies.
Work with data quality incidents and initiate corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with data governance principles, including data ownership, quality, and security.
Standardize and unify business metrics and definitions across the organization.
Work closely with business stakeholders to define business rules and validate their implementation in data sources.
Collaborate with data engineers to handle data-related errors and improve data pipelines.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (GDPR, ICO, and others) regarding data privacy and security.
Manage and maintain Data Catalogs to ensure proper metadata documentation, improve data discoverability, and support governance initiatives.
Work in Jira/Confluence for documentation and backlog management.
At least 3 years of experience working with data.
Strong SQL skills (writing complex queries, working with any relational databases)
Snowflake knowledge (optional) – understanding of architecture, writing SQL queries, and working with roles, policies and tags.
Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar) for data visualization and reporting.
Familiarity with Data Governance frameworks and data management best practices.
Business analysis skills, including stakeholder communication, KPI definition, and data validation.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with large datasets.
Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative in identifying data issues, optimizing processes, and suggesting improvements.
Understanding of Supply Chain business processes (logistics, inventory management, procurement) is a plus.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data warehouses (DWH), and data lakes is a plus.
Experience in Data Lineage and Data Catalog management (Collibra, Alation, Purview) is a plus.
Snowflake knowledge – understanding of architecture, writing SQL queries, and working with roles, policies, and tags is a plus.
English proficiency at B2/C1 level for communication with international teams.
