Our Production Team

The Production Team at Second Dinner has two key goals: continue to deliver an awesome gaming experience through MARVEL SNAP, and develop one of the best Production teams in the industry. We care deeply about making great games with great people.

In order to support the wider game team in doing the work they love, we proactively remove roadblocks, facilitate alignment across departments, and keep our priorities in check. We actively work to create best practices that allow for sustainable game development.  This includes managing project scope to mitigate any need for overtime, and ensuring team members are able to leverage their expertise and interests while also having ample opportunities to challenge themselves as they grow as individuals.

Your Role

You will report to the Associate Director of Production. Your primary responsibility as mid-level producer is to partner with Design, Gameplay (Engineering), and Content (LiveOps) teams, as well as with the wider Production group.  You will own facilitating the development of relevant deliverables, communicating goals and managing capacity for our Gameplay and Design teams, and staying tapped into the efforts of other teams across the project.  If you love crafting world-class game experiences and collaborating with extraordinarily talented cross-functional teams, please APPLY!

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee end-to-end development and delivery of gameplay features and live content

  • Create and communicate development plans and project schedules

  • Support other team members in the planning and execution of tasks

  • Drive the completion of goals and facilitate communication, organization, and accountability across the team

  • Ensure the team works at a sustainable pace and continuously improves

  • Tactical Production responsibilities - including but not limited to: task tracking, bug assignment, running ceremonies (planning, demos, retros, etc.), running meetings

  • Champion the project vision to the team

  • Play MARVEL SNAP!

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience supporting a live game or live service as a mid-level producer

  • An abundance of empathy and willingness to support fellow team members

  • Ability to align with and manage expectations for a diverse group of stakeholders

  • Excellent and adaptable communication skills - in person, over Zoom (or similar video conference apps), and written (JIRA, Slack, Confluence, etc.)

  • Love for playing and making great games

  • Interest in card / strategy games

  • Regularly plays mobile games

Nice to Have But Not Necessary:

  • Experience working directly with Designers

  • Experience working directly with Engineers

  • Experience with feature development

  • Experience working in mobile games

  • Experience with Unity

The total compensation for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 USD + equity + comprehensive benefits + potential for discretionary performance bonuses.

Individual pay within this salary range may span multiple levels within the discipline and is determined by assessed job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training. It also factors in market demands and business needs. The disclosed range is not adjusted based on location and may be subject to change or modification based on business needs in the future.
