We put SEO, Reviews, Advertising, Email Marketing, Chat and Messaging, Social Media, Website, Lead Management, Appointment Scheduling, and more to work for local businesses. We’re a technology-led service with a human touch.
About the Role

As an Associate Web Developer, you are responsible for transforming website designs into functionality that optimize site performance and increase website conversion for our clients. The quality, efficiency, and experience of the work you do directly impacts the efficiency of your vertical and the client’s experience with Scorpion.

To provide exceptional quality to clients, you will also manage QC and all technical edits, ensuring the website is responsive, visually appealing, and features user-friendly design and clear navigation.

As an associate in this role, you will be assigned to support or assist experienced developers on larger scope projects; as well as independently handle many of the straightforward tasks coming into the team. You will be expected to uphold the Scorpion standard of excellence, service, and delivery to ensure that each and every client we work with has the best experience and results possible.

What Your Success Will Look Like
  • Handle regular website duties
  • Ensure that development procedures provide for optimal navigation, configuration management, and user experience
  • Continuously maintain the website(s); test, troubleshoot, and resolve problems
  • Communicate with Designers and Creative Managers on matters of website concept, design, and structure
  • Address all requests with importance, urgency, and professional communication
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates
  • Compile, report, and update personal statistics and report to the manager (completed edits, turnaround time, etc.)
  • Debug issues and escalate system or website level errors to the Senior or Lead Web Developers
  • Communicate with Director of Web Development for system level improvements to enhance the client experience and team efficiency
Who You Are And What You Bring
  • 0-1 years of professional web development experience
  • Will substitute work experience for proven advanced knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (we like self-taught developers as well!)
  • Must have experience in customer service and a willingness to approach all tasks head-on with a sense of urgency
Our Scorpion Values
  • Winning Mindset:  When our clients win, we win.
  • Genuine Care:  We only succeed when we are truly invested in our clients and each other.
  • Unmatched Results:  We deliver more than expected–and then some–driving the best results and impacting lives.
  • Constant Improvement:  We believe there is always a better way. We learn we ask “What if?” we build and then do it again.
  • Unbeatable Teamwork:  We come from different backgrounds but have the same vision. We only get there by doing it together, as a team.
Our Benefits

We invest in our employees by offering them diverse benefits from best-in-class carriers. These benefits provide enough choice and flexibility to keep our employees and their families healthy and happy—today and tomorrow.

  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible paid time off, so you can rest, relax, and recharge away from work
  • Employee equity program
  • Paid parental leave
  • Paid cell phone and service
  • Remote office allowance
  • Professional development and development courses
  • Regular manager check-ins to drive performance and career growth through Lattice

  • The base salary range is $55,000 (entry-level) - $60,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
