The Role: 

Datacor summer interns will participate in a 10-week program, with a defined assignment supporting different areas of the business such as Data Science, Marketing, Technical Services, and Support. Interns will be matched based on their interest, background, and the needs of the business.  

During the program, interns will work on meaningful assignments that will grow their knowledge of the business and technical skills, while supporting Datacor on our 2025 priorities. Interns will collaborate closely with internal team members to understand their business requirements, assignment details, etc. In this program, interns will be mentored by experts and work directly on projects that create real business impact and gain invaluable professional experience. In addition to project work, interns will participate in networking discussions with leaders and workshops to focus on specific professional skills that interns will put to use during their internship.  

What to Expect: 

  • Execute daily responsibilities and project work
  • Have opportunities to ask questions and learn from experienced professionals/developers
  • Participate in intern program events including workshops, speaker series, and report-out presentation 

Team Assignments:

  • Data Science, Datacor
    • Support ongoing AI projects around computer vision, demand forecasting, and data labeling and cataloging.
    • Applicants should have working knowledge around machine learning, deep learning, programming, data structures, and strong quantitative skills. 
  • Marketing, Datacor
    • Support initiatives around demand generation, market research, marketing collateral, event planning, and more.
    • Applicants should have experience, knowledge, and an interest in Marketing through course curriculum, previous internships/work experience, and/or extracurriculars. 
  • Product Support, Datacor
    • Conduct a comprehensive audit of customers to establish a baseline of their current state and capture results within Service Cloud. Analyze data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
    • Applicants should have experience, knowledge, and an interest in data analysis and project management through course curriculum, previous internships/work experience, and/or extracurriculars. 
  • Application Support, Applied Flow Technology (AFT) 
    • Support AFT’s business by creating materials for training courses and market expansion, analyzing support cases for improvement opportunities, conducting competitor research, and assisting with the nuclear verification and validation process.
    • Applicants should be pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and an interest in business operations. 
  • Technical Services, Datacor
    • Design dashboards for Datacor’s ERP customers to measure performance to metric against a set of industry standard goals.
    • Applicants should be able to perform basic programming using various technologies such as Python, VB.NET, and SQL. 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior in college/university (rising junior/senior during summer 2025 intern program)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0  
  • Strong problem-solving and analytic skills
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent communication skills, with an eagerness to engage directly with team members, customers, leaders, etc.  
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new situations, changing priorities, and evolving technologies
  • Experience in a professional environment, including prior internship experience is preferred 

This is a remote internship with potential in-person gatherings, depending on location. Please note that Datacor's 2025 internship opportunities are designed for students currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
