We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to build and lead our capacity planning and workforce management function within Datavant’s provider division. The Capacity Planning Manager will work with finance, operations, and product leadership to ensure optimal resource utilization and enable data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data analytics and operational planning, coupled with excellent communication and strategic thinking skills. ​​This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead a critical function within our organization. You will:

  • Develop and Implement Forecasting Capabilities: Establish and lead a robust operations forecasting framework with a primary focus on capacity planning. Provide actionable insights into performance across the portfolio of services.
  • Analyze and Communicate Trends: Regularly analyze and communicate consolidated capacity and scheduling performance metrics. Highlight trends, implications, and strategic opportunities for Operations leadership.
  • Scenario Modeling: Drive scenario modeling to support business growth and transformation, including digital and global implementations. Account for seasonal and cyclical business variations and their impact on planning.
  • Collaborate with Finance: Partner with the corporate finance team to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of corporate accounting and budgeting processes through analytical reviews and trend analysis.
  • Operational Performance Reviews: Develop and manage processes for routine analytical reviews of operational performance across verticals, zones, regions, and sites. Collaborate closely with analytics teams and leverage internal resources and tools.
  • Support Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic aspects of the annual operating plan process, aligning operational goals with overall business objectives.
  • Prepare Leadership Presentations: Create and deliver presentations for monthly and quarterly senior leadership meetings and strategic committees.

What you will bring to the table: 

  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience leading capacity forecasting and workforce management, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field required; MBA is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
    • Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools and software (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
    • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, macros, and statistical modeling
    • Proven ability to present to and influence senior and executive management
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong project management and organizational abilities.

The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is:
$98,000$115,000 USD
