SAP ARIBA Architect- Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of SAP Ariba architect is to lead SAP Ariba solutions for iHerb. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Ariba buying, indirect procurement, Ariba sourcing and contract, Ariba supplier management SLP, Ariba Supply chain collaboration SCC, SAP Business Network and S/4 direct procurement functionality. The resource should act as a liaison between suppliers, business & AMS teams at iHerb. This resource will be the subject matter expert for ARIBA related functional and technical issues and will engage with SAP CSP and business stakeholders on a regular basis. Resource will be change agent advocate on behalf of IT team to ensure adoption of licensed Ariba solution in the organization
Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
● Ability to understand the design, implementing and strategically optimizing the SAP Ariba solution for procurement and supply chain management.
● Configure the system with Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Sourcing and contract, Ariba SLP and Ariba Supply Chain collaboration.
● Design and configure the SAP S4 system for Ariba integration space.
● Ability to configure CIG to integrate with SAP S4 system and Ariba cloud application.
● Configure the SAP Business Network integration to SAP S4 Supply Chain Collaboration and Ariba Buying and Sourcing system.
● Develop and execute overall Ariba enterprise architect strategy to ensure solutions align with business objectives
● Provide functional and technical direction to the business stakeholders to guide procurement related requirements and translate them into stable and scalable solutions
● Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs and work towards validation of changes with business using established change management procedures.
● At least three end to end implementation experience in deploying one or more of the applications listed above.
● Demonstrate ability to plan, run, and manage discovery workshops/meetings with business stakeholders & suppliers.
● Provide training and support to end-users, suppliers and cross functional users as applicable on Ariba functionalities, new features and enhancements
● Collaborate with SAP on custom field packages and CRDs via SAP Ariba order store
● Develop training materials, design workflows specific to business process outcomes, and understand how to develop and integrate a proposed solution into existing business and technical environment
● Responsible for configuration of scenarios in SAP Ariba and documenting as per project deliverables
Education & Qualification:
● Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or information technology or Computer Science
● 10 + years of Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Supply Chain architect in ARIBA or similar role, with a focus on procurement during SAP implementations and support.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
● Knowledge of SAP ACTIVATE and SAP public/private cloud
● Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
● Project management experience, including planning, execution, and reporting
● Excellent communication, excel use and documentation skills
● SAP certification(s) preferred but not required.
