As a Technical Consultant – VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), you will be an integral member of a collaborative team focused on deploying next-generation Data Center and hybrid cloud solutions. You will support project teams by contributing to designing, developing, and deploying VCF-based architectures, ensuring that solutions are well-documented, secure, and aligned with business objectives. You will also participate in customer demos, workshops, and meetings with a professional demeanor. This role requires a deep understanding of VMware’s SDDC stack and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities Participate in project teams to design and deploy VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solutions, including configuring and integrating SDDC Manager,vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, and Aria Suite (LCM, Operations, Network, Logs).Contribute to development and testing activities for VCF and its ecosystem, ensuring integration with third-party tools and adherence to industry best practices.Support the design of complex VCF-based architectures and assist in creating technical deliverables, maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.Engage in client workshops, demos, and working sessions, effectively communicating technical concepts and solution benefits.Collaborate with senior team members and project leaders to influence policies and share best practices for successful project delivery.Contribute to scoping, planning, and methodological aspects of projects and identify or escalate scope deviations when necessary.Maintain relevant VMware certifications and stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to VCF implementations.Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of technical experience with VMware and supporting technologies. VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2 Administrator Certification (Exam 2V0-11.24) or most recent equivalent: VMware Certified Specialist - Cloud Foundation 2024 [v2] (5V0-31.22)Proven implementation and upgrade skills in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and associated technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vRealize Suite).Moderate experience integrating VCF solutions with third-party tools such as backup, monitoring, and automation platforms.Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.Solid situational awareness with the ability to work on moderate to complex issues and provide in-depth analysis when needed.A proactive, self-starting approach with strong attention to detail.Willingness to travel at least 10% as needed.ExpectationsOperate as a seasoned professional individual contributor, executing core project tasks with minimal supervision.Own critical components of complex solutions, clearly articulating the scope and relation of your work to overall business objectives.Apply strong analytical skills to troubleshoot moderately complex issues and contribute to the project's overall success.Proactively communicate with project managers and team members regarding project status, potential overruns, and out-of-scope client requests.Contribute to refining project methodologies and deliverables while staying engaged with evolving VCF industry trends.Why AHEAD:

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
