Position Overview You will be an active part of building our growing focus on the Retail & Commerce audience. At Quid, the sales team is the engine that drives the global consumer reach of our solutions. We’re seeking a qualified Account Executive who can help keep this engine running with their own sales skills. The key focus is to drive revenue by developing new, strategic partnerships especially with large enterprises. The ideal Account Executive has experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing – specifically within the Commerce and Retail space. We would like someone curious and eager to challenge themselves. We’re looking for a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills — someone with a successful track record who can inspire the same performance in others.
Role Objectives
Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's reach
Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs
Ensure that company quotas are met by set objectives and having a strategy
Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings
Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address them
Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts
Develop sales skills continuously and use effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives
Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships
Requirements
5 -10 years of quota carrying software (SaaS experience preferred) or technology sales and account management experience
Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing (Top 10%/20% of the company)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Experience selling to a Retail or Commerce audience – Special interest in experience of selling to senior merchandisers, trading, category/product managers and commercial eCommerce personas.
