Software Engineer

Venesco LLC is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support the Department of the Interior ITSS BERT Program. 

As the Senior Software Engineer you will:  

• Design, develop, and maintain ongoing support of the BERT application
• Provide technical guidance to a team of Programmer Analysts 
• Work with the Project Manager to ensure work is completed in satisfactory and timely manner

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science
• Ten (10) or more years of experience in system design, development and maintenance 
• Seven (7) or more years Federal accounting systems experience 
• Working knowledge of the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL) accounts (specifically the budgetary general ledger accounts (400 series)) 
• Working knowledge of Treasury’s SF 133 crosswalks
• Public Trust Clearance eligibility
