Job description

Location – Chicago, IL | Coralville, IA | or Remote-US

Digital Diagnostics is looking for an Integration Engineer to join our growing team! As the integration point person for assigned customers, you will manage the execution of the interface between their EHR system and our LumineticsCore™ product. You will be responsible for the design, build, testing and ongoing support of the integration.

Our Integration Engineer will: 

  • Work across multiple domains to drive results and ensure mutual success for both the Customer and Digital Diagnostics
  • Create and maintain interfaces between Digital Diagnostics and its clients using HL7, JSON, and XML in the Mirth interface engine
  • Work directly with clients for new interface builds and existing interface modifications
  • Adapt to challenges, learn quickly, identify best paths forward and coordinate execution of solutions
  • Manage deliverables under challenging technical and timeline requirements
  • Foster positive working relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Work with product management and engineering to incorporate customer feedback and enhancements into the product roadmap

 What You’ll Bring to the Team 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years supporting interfaces in a healthcare environment 
  • Ability to work on multiple, moderate to highly complex assignments simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and DICOM interface standards
  • Experience with EHRs such as Epic, Cerner, Athena, and eClinicalWorks
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to fill a range of roles as needed, including a willingness to learn new things
