Main responsibilities:
- Research product information and communicate with suppliers.
- Request price lists, follow up on information and keep them up to date.
- Participate in procurement by creating, placing and tracking purchase orders;
- Prepare quotations for sales teams;
- Enter data into administrative systems (orders, accounting, follow-up, certification, rebates, etc.);
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and conditions with suppliers.
- Communicate and transfer information throughout all departments of the organization;
- Ensure that available supplier discounts are maximized and that the various programs are well understood;
- Keep our customers' maintenance renewals up to date;
- Participate in negotiations with suppliers to reach agreements on product purchases (price, discount, payment terms, shipping, return policy).
- Ability or interest in learning how to build configurations (servers, storage, etc.) using manufacturers' tools;
- Help with preparation and occasional shipments, management of receipts.
- Any other related tasks deemed necessary for the position and the smooth running of activities
Profile required
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in technology equipment resale
- Oral and written bilingualism (French and English).
- Knowledge of computer systems and MS Office
- Understanding of basic IT terminology
- Knowledge of Salesforces
