Sprezzatura seeks a Jr Information Security Analyst to join our growing team. The candidate will work on a team to analyze and document systems within the VA with the goal of reducing Social Security Number usage. Roles/Responsibilities:
· Determine the impact of new technologies, software versions, or federal policy changes to application builds, web, networking, and maintenance
Skills & Qualifications:
· Familiarity with security frameworks and standards including National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-53 Rev.4 & 5 (Security Privacy Controls Overlays), the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), VA 6500 Information Security Program, Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) Publication 199, Standards for Security Categorization of Federal Information and Information Systems, and VA Directive 6508
· Communication skills allowing for both cooperative communication and conflict resolution with government staff and coworkers from a wide array of backgrounds and positions
· Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products (Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint) and JIRA
