About the role:
The Program Manager, Financial Health role will support a dedicated large national accounts client to support scaling the 401k, Stock and Financial Health programs globally. This role requires a strategic leader with strong financial benefits knowledge who is excited by the chance to roll-up their sleeves to lead strategy, development, and compliance of employee financial programs. They will be responsible for end-to-end consulting on existing and new programs, lead cross-organizational support teams, and be responsible to continuously evolve and evangelize these programs to meet the needs of the client’s rapidly growing businesses! This role will liaise with the client’s stakeholders across the organization and at all levels of the company.
Core Responsibilities: include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
Strategy and Program Development:
  • Develop operational program strategy in partnership with key stakeholders to meet the financial benefit needs of Amazon employees.
  • Assess current programs for efficacy and scalability. Develop mechanisms to measure the employee experience.
  • Leverage multiple inputs and employee feedback to identify gaps and develop recommendations across multiple businesses and geographic locations. Develop processes and mechanisms to measure utilization and program effectiveness.
  • Evaluate systemic issues and consult with key stakeholders to develop and refine processes and policies as needed. Drive large initiatives as needed. Ability to influence executives, in partnership with cross functional business leaders, to gain approvals on programs.
Plan Administration and Compliance:
  • Continuously evolve programs and services to earn and keep employee and business partner trust and to deliver a positive employee experience.
  • Drive and/or participate in team projects as necessary to support our growing and dynamic workforce.
  • Advise client’s team to ensure that financial benefit plans are in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
Plan Consulting:
  • In conjunction with the client’s team, recommends and oversees the written guidelines, policies, and internal controls.
  • Develop complex and broad-based implementation strategy for communication and change management plans.
  • Make recommendations on plan design, integration/implementation, and in partnership with internal stakeholders, identify opportunities to reduce program expenses and/or improve the employee experience.

Skills needed:
  • 5+ years of relevant project and program management experience with large multi-location employers, including program development and delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, HR or related field
  • Exceptional analytical skills, proven abilities in process development and data management, financial accounting, reporting, auditing and reconciliations, strengths in reporting and communicating financial data and trends to business leaders
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in influencing decision makers
  • Exceptional focus and proven results on delivering excellent employee experiences.
  • Comfortable working with and communicating large amounts of data findings, experience establishing and tracking program metrics. Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy of discretion through ambiguous circumstances.
  • Successful record of building operational processes and procedures, continuously improving program efficiencies, and proven abilities to maintain cross organizational partnerships
Preferred
  • Strong sense of accountability, sound personal judgment and global business acumen.
  • Great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing programs in large-scales organizations with unique and dynamic business needs.
  • 10+ years of experience with program management along with design, administration, and governance.
  • Flexibility to work occasionally in extended time zones is required.
  • Periodic global business travel is required.
