About the Team:
Ledger's Broker team operates at the intersection of finance, insurance, and technology, focusing on structuring and managing casualty insurance-linked securities (ILS) offerings. The team is responsible for originating and cultivating re/insurer relationships, expanding the global casualty ILS investor base, and developing innovative, securitized reinsurance solutions for enhanced capital efficiency.
About the role:
In this role, you will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including re/insurance companies, actuaries, regulators, and Ledger’s broker-dealer, to design and implement innovative capital solutions and will report directly to the Chief Executive, Reinsurance.
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Reinsurance Actuary to lead and innovate collateralized casualty treaty reinsurance pricing. This critical role involves evaluating and pricing transactions, documenting pricing assumptions, mentoring actuarial talent, and contributing to the development of cutting-edge pricing solutions. You will play a key role in managing pricing parameters, supporting new product development, and participating in the development of a fast-growing Casualty ILS market.
This position combines leadership, technical expertise, and a strong focus on collaboration to enhance Ledger’s profitability and success.
