ABOUT THE ROLE/CLIENT

Our client is one of the largest worldwide accounting, tax, audit, and consultancy companies operating in more than 160 countries.

We are looking for a motivated .NET developer (with at least a year of hands-on experience) to work with our Client to design, develop, and maintain software. The Developer's role will be to produce code using the .NET Framework.

We are considering candidates located in Lithuania only. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using .NET and .NET Framework.

  • Develop and maintain web applications and APIs.

  • Collaborate with senior developers and other team members to design software solutions.

  • Identify and fix bugs or performance issues in code.

  • Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.

  • Work with databases (e.g., SQL Server) to design schemas, write queries, and perform CRUD operations.

  • Work on data integration and managing ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.

  • Document code, design decisions, and technical specifications.

  • Work within an Agile team following the Scrum framework, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in .NET development, tools, and technologies.

  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 1 year of professional development experience using .NET technologies.

  • Proficiency in C#.

  • Experience with ASP.NET Core for building web applications.

  • Knowledge of .NET APIs, libraries, and tools.

  • Understanding of HTTP protocols, REST APIs, and web services.

  • Familiarity with SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational databases, experience with database design and writing optimized queries.

  • Proficiency in using version control systems such as Git.

  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, MSTest, xUnit), ability to debug and troubleshoot code effectively.

  • Familiarity with IDEs such as Visual Studio.

  • Experience with build tools like MSBuild or CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

  • Ability to break down complex problems and implement efficient solutions.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, React, or Vue.js).

  • Have work experience with Kentico content management system.
