Title: Business Anlayst
Location: Remote, LA

Job Description:
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
● Analyze and document ECE's business functions and processes, including areas where cross-functional collaboration across agency departments is critical;
● Analyze the integration of ECE's business functions with LDOE systems of record;
● Maintain a working knowledge of accounting, procurement, finance or contract management;
● Assist with business case development and business process reengineering;
● Consult with management and personnel to identify, define and document ECE's business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, and input and output requirements related to federal grants managed by ECE;
● Recommend new processes and workflow integrations that yield operational efficiencies;
● Develop or assist with project work plans and project timelines;
● Participate in team meetings and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations;
● Perform additional duties related to this job title as needed and requested by LDOE for this task order.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
● Three (3) years of experience of consulting and advisory services, including analyzing and documenting business functions, as well as working with financial data and processes;
● Three (3) years of experience with accounting cycles and processes;
● Experience in developing procedural documents, including operating procedures, user guides, and training materials;
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
● Experience creating requirements documentation for complex projects.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
● Intermediate or advanced-level expertise in Google Workspace (specifically Google Docs and Google Sheets), and the Microsoft Office Suite of products;
● Experience in providing programmatic and tactical support for LDOE federal grant awards;
● Familiarity with federal reporting requirements and business processes related to the administration of LDOE federal grant awards and programs;
● Has familiarity, experience, knowledge and/or background in the federal CCDF program.
