In this role, you will be an essential part of ensuring the timely and accurate processing of music releases for major platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. Job Description

As the AU Music Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

Release Review and Distribution:
- Efficiently process and review pending music releases, ensuring adherence to DSP (Digital Service Provider) standards.
- Complete approximately 100-120 releases per day with a high level of accuracy.
- Process and deliver music releases daily to ensure timely distribution to DSPs.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the Artist Support team to provide accurate and timely updates on release status, ensuring the best guidance is provided to artists.
- Communicate any delivery errors or issues found during the review process to the relevant teams.
- Collaborate with the Copyright and Data team to monitor for fraudulent or suspicious uploads and ensure platform integrity.
Quality Control and Problem Solving:
- Ensure all releases meet the necessary metadata style guides.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in the music submission process.
- Collaborate with Distro Direct and A+R & Streaming Partnerships teams to prioritize releases and elevate the artist experience.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year or relevant experience as an AU Music Quality Control professional.
Australian Certified.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while processing releases.
Ability to achieve daily KPIs and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of metadata style guides and ability to apply them to the review process.
Basic proficiency with G Suite applications (Google Sheets, Docs).
Ability to master complex Content Management Systems (CMS).
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
Previous experience in the music distribution or streaming industry.
Familiarity with music distribution platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, or similar.
Understanding of music copyright, royalties, and rights management.
