TITLE: Senior Manager- Enterprise Applications

WHAT YOU’LL DO: The Sr. Manager - Enterprise Applications is a key leadership role within Duck Creek Technologies, responsible for overseeing the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications that support critical business functions. This role ensures alignment between technology solutions and business objectives, enhances operational efficiency, and leads a high-performing team in the development and management of enterprise systems. The Sr. Manager plays a pivotal role in optimizing processes, driving system adoption, and ensuring robust integrations across platforms to enable seamless business operations.  

  • Lead an enterprise applications team, overseeing the development, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of business-critical systems such as ERP, CRM, and other enterprise platforms.

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, scalability, and long-term business needs.

  • Drive business process automation and optimization, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through system enhancements and integration.

  • Manage cross-functional collaboration, partnering with IT, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure enterprise applications effectively support company objectives.

  • Oversee enterprise system upgrades, migrations, and implementations, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum adoption.

  • Establish and enforce governance policies, best practices, and security measures for enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

  • Drive data integrity, reporting, and analytics capabilities, ensuring that enterprise applications provide actionable insights to leadership.

  • Lead vendor and contract management for enterprise software solutions, negotiating agreements and ensuring service levels are met.

  • Develop and maintain KPIs and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of enterprise applications and identify areas for improvement.

  • Build and manage a high-performing team, providing mentorship, career development, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

  • Serve as the escalation point for major system issues, coordinating with IT and support teams to ensure timely resolution.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of emerging enterprise technologies and recommend innovations that drive competitive advantage.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:   

  • Bachelor’s or Masters Degree and/or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 
  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise application administration, with a focus on Human Resources and Finance systems.
  • 3+ years supervisory and strategic leadership experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND BEHAVIORS:

  • Previous experience in a global software company.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise systems, preference to WorkDay and ServiceNow. 
  • Experience with system integrations and data migration. 
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing system enhancements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong vendor management skills. 
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation. 
  • Proficiency in training and supporting end-users. 
  • Strong project management skills. 
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

Travel: 10% Travel

Location: Remote Poland
