Job description

Overview:

POSITION OVERVIEW

Fidelity National Financial (FNF) is seeking an experienced and results-oriented IT Business Analyst to join our Corporate IT division. The IT Business Analyst will assist the Business Resilience team in the daily management of technology-related data within the organization. Primarily, the IT Business Analyst will play a key role producing and providing trend analysis for the IT Change Management team and the Business Resilience team. The IT Business Analyst will assist the Change and Resilience Team by developing reports and procedures for tracking company data used to enhance IT performance. 

 

The IT Business Analyst will also directly support the Business Resilience team as a trainee to experience on-the-job and formal Business Resilience certification training.  They will learn to administer the corporate disaster recovery program and business resilience program.  Technology and cyber risk identification, mitigation, and/or avoidance are the foundation of this job.  They will learn to work with employees across the company to plan, test, and document risk mitigation strategy and effectiveness.  Examples of Business Resilience tasks are planning and administering disaster recovery/cyber resilience tests, assisting technology owners develop effective recovery plans, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date application recovery list, and developing high level risk mitigation strategies.

 

LOCATION

  • This role can sit at our HQ in Jacksonville, FL or 100% remote.
  • If remote, ability to travel up to 10% to HQ in Jacksonville, FL.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop asset control processes to monitor accountability identification, maintenance, location and contract.
  • Develop and review Change, Incident data and the Application Catalog inventory and make recommendations on quality improvement
  • Resolve a wide variety of issues that arise on an enterprise-wide scale by leveraging FNF’s partners, procedures, and tools. This requires often requires creativity and excellent intrapersonal skills.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, efficiently and effectively, to meet quality, service, and performance goals and report on the same.
  • Communicate effectively with different levels within the organization.
  • Perform other duties as requested, including administrative functions.
  • Learn Business Resilience program development.  Learn to manage a corporate resilience program.
  • Incorporate process analysis including infrastructure, applications, data, people, and locations, conduct development sessions with Businesses to build process flow impact analysis, determine risks associated with infrastructure, applications, data, people, and locations.
  • Develop solutions to correct or mitigate the risks, follow the model through all of the business processes in the company.  Conduct annual reviews of the critical processes and bi-annual reviews for the lower priority processes. 
  • Learn to develop and conduct cyber and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Learn to review Technology Recovery Plans and make recommendations for improvement if necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Requires 2+ years of experience working in information technology.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office products including Power BI.
  • Experience working in a server-based technology environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and oral.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in direction and responsibilities and work in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with the Service Now application is a plus.
