What You Will Be Doing:

We are recruiting for a Director, Enterprise Sales to join our team. In this role, you will lead the North American Enterprise sales team, focused on generating new business by acquiring and growing customers. You will lead a team to a set of defined revenue targets (new customers & customer expands) and drive a regular cadence of territory reviews and account plans. The team is responsible for building long-term, strategic business relationships that will lead to increased revenue growth, revenue retention and increased client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading & developing a high performing sales team
  • Providing coaching, advice, support, motivation or information to help individuals meet and ideally exceed their defined sales objectives
  • Growing and aligning sales resources to achieve targeted growth plans
  • Forecasting annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue streams accurately
  • Recruiting and managing account executives to ensure goals are met
  • Developing and managing a high-results sales process
  • Providing leadership to the team and executing projects where needed
  • Playing a key role in providing input on the segment’s overall growth strategy
  • Providing feedback to the executive team on the regional territories and market opportunities
  • Develop and manage field relationships with alliance partners (Microsoft/Backblaze) and traditional resellers (SHI/CDW/etc)
  • Establishing and maintaining processes that generate strong customer satisfaction
  • Establishing department measurements to accurately and consistently forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue number for assigned region
  • Ensuring your sales team maintains consistent & accurate sales forecasts

 

What You Bring:

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related sales experience,
  • 5+ years of management and leadership experience
  • SaaS/Cloud Software Sales Experience
  • Demonstrated successful leading and managing an enterprise software sales team and exceeding team quotas
  • Ability to develop and critically analyze a sales pipeline and forecast
  • A history of measurable sales achievements – sales awards, and quotas exceeded
  • Travel Commitment: 25%+

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated understanding of the broader data management market, competitors, and current trends in the space

 

The on-target earnings potential for this role is $290,000 - $330,000. This position is eligible for a variable bonus plan based on assigned targets, in addition to a full range of benefits. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and the candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law.
