Job Overview: The BPO role requires freshers to engage in voice and chat-based communication with customers, handling their inquiries, and providing solutions in real time. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Interaction:

    • Manage inbound and outbound customer calls (for Voice Support) and chat inquiries (for Chat Support).

    • Understand customer requirements and provide relevant solutions or escalate issues as needed.
    • Offer product or service information and guide customers through various processes.
  2. Problem Resolution:

    • Listen actively to customer problems or complaints and resolve them effectively and efficiently.
    • Troubleshoot basic technical issues and provide step-by-step solutions where applicable.
    • Escalate complex issues to the relevant team members or higher management.
  3. Customer Experience:

    • Ensure a positive customer experience by offering empathetic, responsive, and high-quality support.
    • Keep customers updated about their queries and ensure timely resolution.
    • Provide after-call support where necessary, ensuring all details are logged and communicated properly.
  4. Maintaining Logs & Documentation:

    • Accurately document customer interactions, feedback, and issues in the CRM system.
    • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions for future reference.
    • Meet required performance metrics and KPIs, such as average handle time, customer satisfaction scores, and first-call resolution.
  5. Compliance & Quality Assurance:

    • Follow company guidelines and scripts to ensure consistency in communication.
    • Ensure data protection and confidentiality protocols are followed while handling customer information.
    • Participate in quality assurance checks and strive for continuous improvement in service delivery.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Communication Skills:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to converse fluently in English (additional language proficiency is a plus).
    • Active listening skills to understand customer issues and provide effective solutions.
  2. Tech-Savvy:

    • Comfortable using computers, software, and chat platforms.
    • Proficient in basic office tools (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
    • Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues or navigate online systems.
  3. Customer-Centric Approach:

    • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first attitude.
    • Ability to empathize with customers and demonstrate patience under pressure.
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  4. Adaptability:

    • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes, software, and tools.
    • Open to receiving feedback and continuously improving skills and performance.
  5. Educational Background:

    • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Bachelors degree is an added advantage but not mandatory for freshers.
