Business Operations Manager

The Role
This position is responsible for the management and administration of corporate back-office functions, including but not limited to HR, Finance, Contracts, and general company administration. Responsibilities
- Human Resources (e.g., employee onboarding/offboarding, support and engagement, HRIS administrator, payroll administration)
- Recruiting
- Sales operations and reporting
- Facilities & Asset Management (ensure the facility is well-maintained and stocked; track corporate equipment)
- Corporate Compliance
- Corporate Records Management
- Managing Operations staff (currently one, but this will grow)
- Coordinating corporate events/meetings (e.g., space reservations, catering, activity planning, etc.)
Primary Qualifications
- Associates Degree Required; Bachelors Degree desired
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience as indicated in the job description
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proactive in seeking areas of the organization that can benefit from new efficiencies
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage daily responsibilities
- Have a strong work ethic with a get it done attitude by being accountable for tasks
- Be a curious learner and never settle for mediocrity
- Have the drive to be a team player, supporting the organization’s staff as needed
Location
This role is offered as a fully remote or hybrid position based out of our Sterling, VA office.
