Job Overview
We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst who can step in, take ownership of our marketing data ecosystem, and optimize marketing strategies that drive business growth. This role is not just about tracking marketing data —it’s about understanding why our customers take action, how they move through our funnels, and developing data backed strategies on how we improve conversion, engagement, and LTV.
Our ideal candidate is not just technically skilled in data analysis but deeply curious about marketing performance, customer behavior, and funnel optimization. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Marketing Intelligence & Behavioral Insights
- Track and analyze customer journeys to understand how customers progress through our value ladder.
- Identify key experiences, content interactions, and purchase behaviors that indicate which customers are likely to take the next step in their journey.
- Map and segment customer journeys to optimize marketing funnels and increase conversions.
- Connect marketing engagement data (website visits, content consumption, campaign interactions) with purchase behavior to drive predictive analytics.
Marketing Performance Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze organic and paid traffic sources to understand where our most valuable leads come from and how to optimize campaign performance.
- Integrate ad performance data with lifetime value (LTV) analysis to determine which campaigns generate the highest long-term ROI.
- Provide clear, data-driven recommendations for marketing spend optimization, audience targeting, and campaign improvements.
- Translate performance data into actionable strategy that improves engagement and conversions.
- Build dashboards that tell a clear story of marketing impact across email, paid media, organic channels, and content engagement.
Data Platform & Reporting Infrastructure
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of our internal marketing analytics infrastructure - if a process doesn’t exist, you’ll help create it.
- Write and modify SQL queries to extract marketing performance data and automate reporting.
- Build dashboards and reporting structures in Salesforce, Looker, Power BI, or other analytics tools to provide real-time marketing insights.
- Partner with data engineers and sales operations teams to structure data in a way that aligns with marketing’s strategic needs.
Proactive Data Strategy & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Be the marketing team’s linchpin for analytics, ensuring key stakeholders have visibility into marketing performance and customer behavior.
- Translate raw data into meaningful user stories—not just what’s happening, but why it matters and how we should act on it.
- Support A/B testing and marketing experiments by analyzing results and providing clear, data-backed recommendations.
- Collaborate with Salesforce admins and marketing ops teams to optimize reporting workflows and data flow between platforms.

SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, or data analysis.
- Comfortable writing and modifying SQL queries to extract marketing insights and automate reporting.
- Experience with Salesforce & HubSpot – Ability to work within these platforms to integrate, analyze, and report on marketing data.
- Hands-on experience with marketing analytics platforms: Google Analytics, Amplitude, Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Deep understanding of key marketing performance metrics – CPA, ROAS, CLV, churn, conversion rates, and attribution modeling.
- Experience working with paid ad platform data (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube, etc.).
- Familiarity with data platform development – Understands how to structure marketing data for better reporting and decision-making.
