Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract type: Independent Contractor
Schedule: 20 hours/week, Flexible time

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective backlink-building strategies to enhance website authority and rankings.
Conduct outreach campaigns to acquire high-quality links from relevant and authoritative websites.
Identify and evaluate backlink opportunities through competitor analysis and industry research.
Monitor and maintain backlink profiles, ensuring compliance with best practices and avoiding toxic links.
Optimize for search, discovery, and video rankings, ensuring content is well-positioned across various search platforms.
Collaborate with content and marketing teams to create link-worthy content.
Track, report, and analyze backlink performance using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, and Google Search Console.
Provide detailed reports and insights on SEO performance to the Director and Marketing Manager.
Stay up to date with industry trends and algorithm updates to ensure continuous improvement in link-building techniques.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEO, specifically in backlink building.
Strong understanding of white-hat link-building techniques and Google guidelines.
Proven experience in ranking websites across search, discovery, and video platforms.
Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console, and Majestic SEO.
Excellent research and analytical skills to identify high-quality link-building opportunities.
Proven track record of successful outreach campaigns and link acquisition.
Strong communication and negotiation skills for outreach and relationship-building.
Experience in creating reports and presenting performance metrics to senior management.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple link-building campaigns efficiently.
Willingness to learn about our business and different services like asbestos removal, roof replacement, and restoration to pinpoint the best keywords.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in guest posting and blogger outreach.
Familiarity with on-page and technical SEO best practices.
Experience with WordPress and Elementor.
