Join our team as a Sample Management Technician, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our dietary supplements.

This is a 100% on-site role in Stevens Point, Wisconsin - this is not a remote opportunity. 

 

What to Expect:

  • Log-in incoming samples into the sample tracking system.
  • Divide samples appropriately for sample distribution and send out.
  • Fill out third-party laboratory sample submission forms, ensuring that the appropriate analyses are requested and send samples out for third-party analysis.
  • Track out-of-specification test results and ensure that they are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Review internal and external COAs for completeness.
  • Identify and create areas of improvement through electronic resources (i.e. Navision, SharePoint, etc.) that will allow the lab to better organize, report activities, and/or track laboratory results.
  • Communicate routinely with third-party laboratories to ensure that sample analysis is completed on time, or that a new completion date is documented and communicated to other departments within the company.
  • Maintain analytical documentation in compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Contribute:

  • BS/BA degree in a related science field or 2-4 years’ experience in related science field required.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory and quality systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Regulations.
  • ASQ certification desirable but not required.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (includes Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint); experience in SharePoint and ERP systems desired.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
