Ivanti's Security Department is responsible for implementing and maintaining organization-wide information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures. The security team works collaboratively with other business units to document business requirements, then solves for those requirements through a variety of aligned platforms which make up our enterprise architecture. The teams ultimate goal is to keep Ivanti, our data, our customers and employees safe.

As an Offensive Security Engineer in the Ivanti Security Team, you will work on finding security vulnerabilities and weaknesses in Ivanti products and services.

You are responsible for performing various penetration tests, looking for vulnerabilities in systems and infrastructures. You will be supporting engineers to resolve vulnerabilities and implement secure software principles, architectures and practices.

What you need to be successful:

• Passionate about offensive security
• 5+ years of working experience as a penetration tester
• Working knowledge of multiple relevant tools in the domain (such as, but not limited to Burp Suite, Kali Linux, OWASP Zap Proxy, DnSpy, IDA Pro etc.)
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, PowerShell etc.), and understanding of one or more programming languages (e.g. .NET, C++, Java)
• Understanding of common technologies, such Active Directory, O365, cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), Windows, OS X and Linux operating systems, networking etc. – and of their common vulnerabilities and attack vectors
• Understanding of common mobile platforms, such as Android and IPhone
• Ability to translate technical jargon for the IT and Business stakeholders
• Good English verbal and written communication skills
• OSCP or OSCE or any other relevant certification is a plus
• Software engineering background is a plus

What you will do day-to-day:

• Perform mobile application, web application and client/server applications penetration tests
• Source code review and report writing.
• Review and process security reports from external researchers and bug bounty programs
• Advice on secure application development and secure software/network architecture
