Job description

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will join a dynamic team Kunai is assembling to integrate seamlessly with a major global banking client’s investment arm. In this role, you will champion best practices to build and enhance cutting-edge applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop across the application stack including front-end, back-end, database layers, and dev ops.
Utilize React to build highly optimized, scalable, and modern web applications.
Create and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java
Primary coding in Java and JavaScript, embracing modern ES6+ standards.
Deploy and manage application components on cloud (Azure)
Engage and problem solve with other engineers, designers, and product owners in a collaborative environment, involving code reviews and joint problem-solving

Candidate Profile:

4+ years of proven background in building scalable full-stack applications with Java, JavaScript (React), HTML, CSS.
Solid understanding of asynchronous JavaScript, data querying from various sources (GraphQL, REST APIs, databases), and web services.
Keen eye for layout, semantic markup, and application performance.
Experience with cloud services and cloud-based application management (Azure preferred).
Strong ownership, pragmatic approach, commitment to testing and learning, and ability to work in agile, collaborative environments.
Adaptability: Openness to learning and applying new technologies and methodologies
Prior enterprise-level or commercial software development experience.
