IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Senior Application / Systems Analyst to within our VA-ESOM- End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States. As part of the Operations Triage Group, candidates must have extensive IT experience in the analysis, design, and integration of information systems and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and development software. Must be well versed in understanding structured analysis and design methodologies for the translation of systems requirements from business needs with a proven track record.  Must be able to evaluate cost factors and risk. Must be well versed in incident management, application and systems analysis for large organizations. The candidate must have experience in business analysis, deriving conclusions and recommending operational and application/system improvements. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks by partnering with team members and Project Manager. 

  • Supports VA/OIT Infrastructure Operations, Chief Operating Officer, Operation Triage Group division in performing technical and professional work by conducting various business analysis and forming recommendations for operational excellence and system improvements. 
  • Support the Operations Triage Group by performing complex tasks like research, data analysis & validation, operational improvements, project support, reports verification, records management, documentation, executive summaries, white-papers, memorandums, file management, derive actionable insights with an objective of operational efficiency and transparent communications. 
  • Observe and recommend ways to improve data completeness, harmonization and standardization across data sources with process improvement, automation and best practices mindset. 
  • Partner with Problem-Solving Engineering Team within the Operations Triage Group team of System Engineers, Application / System Analysts, etc. with a potential 24/7 working schedule, ensuring effective collaboration across the VA ESOM contract and resource management.  
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer support through regular communication, feedback collection, metric/KPI, and tracking progress of project/incidents, roadmap, success factors, compliance, AES Score as agreed. 

Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or equivalent (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education) 
  • 5 years of relevant experience 
  • Able to follow regulations and policies. 
  • Agile to changing priorities with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills and sharp attention to detail. 
  • Effective communication, collaboration, organization, and coordination and across multiple levels to ensure consistent and unified messaging in large organizations. 
  • Expertise in operating under high-pressure situations, flawless execution during crises, and mitigating applications / system risks. 
  • Ability to work with Teams, but self-motivated to complete projects on your own. 
  • Able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance. 
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder. 

Preferred: 

  • Experience supporting a federal client. 
  • Section 508 conformance experience or knowledge 
  • Knowledge of ITIL Framework.
