Who will you be joining? 

 

You will be part of the Global Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) team in Allianz SE (Munich, Schwabing) in the Group Strategy, Marketing and Distribution area. The overall objectives and activities are directed towards shaping the Group strategy, rebalancing the portfolio and transforming Marketing and Sales to accelerate profitable growth. Our Team mission is to drive best-in-class methods (Modelling and Testing), data-driven decision making and new ways of working in close teamwork with the local markets and operating entities (OE).
We are seeking a skilled analyst to join our team and drive data-driven insights that enhance our marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and experience in evaluating large data sets. This role involves analyzing historical data and results of our marketing mix modells to identify patterns and trends.

 

How can you make an impact? 

 

  • Analyze large data sets to evaluate patterns across multiple markets and identify key performance drivers for marketing effectiveness 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into strategic planning and marketing investment decisions
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports and visualizations that communicate complex data insights to stakeholders and support informed decision-making

 

What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python) to extract and analyze large data sets
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in complex data sets
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey data-driven insights
  • Basic knowledge of marketing and commonly used metrics is a plus

  • Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital/ Tech etc.) is a plus

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, well-structured manner
  • Experience in handling and interpretation of data
  • Experience in project management methodologies is a plus, not a must
  • A strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other business tools such as Microsoft Teams, and OneNote desired
  • Good social skills and cultural awareness
