This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing specialist in the data space, who are investing heavily in their sales, pre-sales and solutioning teams across the globe, and seek an experienced Enterprise Account Executive for APAC, based in Singapore.

The individual hired into this position will serve a critical role in winning new logos, nurturing and growing existing clients, and collaborating with Singapore and APAC based partners to drive increased revenue for the business. Extensive data or SaaS related enterprise sales experience, combined with flexibility to travel within region and a pattern / history of crushing sales goals as a high achiever, are expected in this role. 

The Opportunity

We are seeking a hardworking, driven Enterprise Account Executive with initiative to lead the acquisition and renewal business in the enterprise market in APAC. You will execute a customer-centric sales strategy for APAC, heavily focused on new customer acquisition (We are only seeking hunters, not farmers!). You will work as an independent contributor, collaborating with sales engineering, marketing and other teams to close sales, win business and reach and exceed sales targets across Asia, based from Singapore.

The successful Enterprise Account Executive, is an experienced professional with a proven track record of exceeding quota by generating and maintaining active engagements with customers, prospects, at times in collaboration with partners. Candidates should be able to articulate the value proposition of open source software; and have a strong understanding of the cloud and enterprise database markets, or extensive experience selling SaaS solutions within the data & data management space. 

An ideal candidate is both successful and ambitious, with a measurable track-record of exceeding sales goals to Enterprise clients in the APAC region.

Responsibilities

  • Set a strategic sales plan for APAC in line with my client's go to market strategy
  • Manage and build a strong sales pipeline by engaging with prospects, partners and key customers
  • Maintain an accurate, robust pipeline and forecast of business opportunities
  • Navigate complex sales processes by applying customer-centric selling and MEDDPICC
  • Utilize and update Salesforce.com on a daily basis to manage and track sales activities, deals and wins!
  • Establish, maintain and grow key relationships with stakeholders and executives within enterprise accounts
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to the senior management team on quarterly strategies
  • Develop account plans for key accounts to retain and grow existing customer base by identifying opportunities to continue to add value for existing customers

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of database / data management sales experience, ideally with a background in selling cloud and open source database solutions
  • Work effectively in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Sales hunter, focused on new and expansion business who is persistent, tenacious and self-disciplined
  • Proven ability to manage large enterprise opportunities, while closing transactional business
  • Sales acumen to run complex sales cycles
  • Candidates must be results driven, self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Strong executive communication presence and excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate and sell effectively at a senior level
  • Able and willing to travel regularly within region, in support of customer and partner related sales activities

Bonus Experience and Skills

  • Experience selling open source software solutions is preferred
  • Experience qualifying opportunities with MEDDICC/MEDDPICC
  • Deep knowledge of the open source ecosystem including community and commercial licensing models
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Salesloft, and other sales & prospecting software


Location

  • This opportunity is a Remote position, open in Singapore and you must be flexible to travel to visit clients or partners in Singapore and APAC, to drive revenue and growth for your territory.
