The Role
The Patient Recruitment Sales Operations Lead will lead the Sales Operations team, focusing on patient recruitment strategy.
This role involves establishing strategic partnerships, managing vendor relationships, driving operational excellence, and contributing to company strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience leading patient recruitment teams, developing global recruitment strategies, and optimizing Salesforce and related tools. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in clinical research, leveraging innovative technology to improve patient access to trials.
Location: This is a remote position and we are open to candidates residing in Europe and the US (East coast).
Responsibilities
- Line management responsibilities for the Sales Operations team.
- Maintain and establish new strategic partnerships to support patient recruitment initiatives.
- Identify and oversee the development and implementation of ongoing process improvements.
- Oversee the introduction of new products and services to the sales operations team when they become available.
- Provide thought leadership content for marketing initiatives.
- Represent the company at conferences through speaking engagements when needed.
- Attend client meetings as an additional Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Chief Delivery Officer.
- Oversee the Pricing Committee to review and evolve pricing models.
- Stay updated on the competitive landscape to support and adapt company strategy as necessary.
- Ensure Sales operations team needs are considered as part of Salesforce enhancements to allow for process simplification and visibility of activities and workload to support resourcing and prioritization.
- Manage system needs, contracts, and vendor relationships for tools the sales operations team might need for example; TrialHub and Eighty Twenty.
- Establishing KPIs and reporting metrics for Sales Operations to objectively measure performance and proactively identify improvement measures.
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience running a patient recruitment team, including line managing managers, ideally in pre-award.
- Experience developing patient recruitment strategies on global studies.
- Expertise in process improvement, KPI development, and strategy execution.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and associated systems.
- Experience with vendor relationship development, management and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
