We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Director to join our Client Services team in the BioTech communications space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large projects, developing communication materials, and maintaining client relationships. This role requires a proactive individual who can keep manage multiple workstreams and drive team success.
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Industry Insight: Keep a pulse on industry, client, therapeutic area, and competitor news to provide strategic insights and recommendations. 
  • Project Management: Manage large projects, timelines, and deadlines to ensure successful delivery of client initiatives. 
  • Material Development: Oversee the development of communication materials, ensuring they are ready for proofing and meet high-quality standards. 
  • Client Relations: Serve as a day-to-day client contact and mobilize interwoven teams towards progress, action and results; keep leadership informed and bring them in when necessary to ensure high-quality service and execution.
  • Communication Leadership: Participate in and lead internal and external calls, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. 
  • Team Coordination: Drive the interwoven team forward, working closely with resource management to allocate tasks and resources efficiently. 
  • Developing Talent: Supervise junior staff and play an active role in their career development
Desired Skills and Qualifications 
  • Proven experience in account management within the BioTech or pharmaceutical communications sector.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent understanding of industry trends, therapeutic areas, and competitor activities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in developing and proofing communication materials.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, drive forward projects and also a strong team player.
The anticipated salary range for this position will be $110,000-$140,000. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.
