 As the Senior Analyst, Loss Prevention, you'll drive data-driven strategies, support field teams, manage vendors, and collaborate cross-functionally to protect company assets. This high-impact role demands strong analytical skills, leadership in initiatives and budgeting, and team mentorship. The ideal candidate is both hands-on and strategic, thriving in a small, dynamic department where you'll wear multiple hats.

What You’ll Do:  

  • Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and insights for LP strategies, using reporting tools to detect outliers and drive corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and margin loss tracking, leveraging predictive analytics to mitigate risks.
  • Present data findings to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee LP coordination for hires, terminations, promotions, and mentorship while ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic goals and supporting training initiatives.
  • Maintain LP databases, policies, training materials, and best practices, ensuring accessibility and compliance.
  • Lead execution of key LP initiatives, including shrink reduction, process improvements, and technology rollouts.
  • Coordinate team meetings, field visits, and LP events.
  • Manage LP hardware, access, and equipment recovery with IT.
  • Serve as the primary contact for LP vendors, managing security contracts, budgets, inventory, and purchase orders.
  • Align LP initiatives with Inventory Control, HR, Retail Ops, and Store Construction, ensuring global consistency in standards and reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to refine LP reporting tools and implement new technologies.
  • Provide data-driven support for field teams, resolving LP-related issues and guiding corrective actions.
  • Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance in all LP operations.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years in data analytics or business intelligence, focusing on retail loss trends, fraud, or financial risks.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools for data analysis and visualization.
  • Familiar with LP systems, surveillance tools, RFID, POS, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex data into insights.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage projects independently and prioritize effectively.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring or overseeing team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to present findings to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborative mindset, working with Operations, HR, IT, and Finance to drive LP initiatives.
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
